How To Generate Real Estate Sales Using Retirement Funds – Part 1:
Course Goals:
This course is designed as an introduction to the use of retirement funds in non-traditional assets such as real estate. Currently, most retirement account owners who want to invest in non-traditional assets, such as real estate, in their retirement account cannot do so with their existing financial advisors. With proper education, real estate agents, CPAs, attorneys, bankers, mortgage agents, business brokers and financial advisors can fill a specific demand. This course will introduce real estate licensees to the concept of using real estate as an IRA and 401 (k) investment vehicle. Part I of this course introduces the student the concept of using non-traditional assets. It then explains how the basic IRA transaction can be structured in either the all cash or leveraged transaction. This course is designed to expose real estate licensees to a new real estate sales opportunities and will provide the broker with a framework that will allow the licensee to create a coalition of professionals that can create a means of investing in non-traditional assets.
Course Materials:
This course is composed of approximately 60 pages of text and review quizzes following each course chapter. The course is divided into 6 chapters. A review quiz follows chapters 1 through 6. A quiz score of 70% or greater is required prior to being allowed to proceed to the quiz for the next course section. All review exercises are open book. At the end of the course, a final examination is required. The final examination consists of 30 questions and is open book. The questions are selected at random from a bank of final exam questions. The questions may be in either a true/false, multiple choice or fill in the blank format. A test score of 75% or greater is required for course completion. The final exam must be completed in 60 minutes. All unanswered questions at the end of the 60 minute period will be graded as incorrect. The final examination is not downloadable or printable. The student will be notified of the number of questions answered correctly after the final examination has been completed. The final exam test results will not be displayed to the student.
